Re: RAF Troop Train route 1958 March Cardington Bridgenorth.

I have found a reference to Cardington-Bridgnorth RAF specials in RO 10/60 page 306. Re: ECML diversions January 2020

1Y05 0526 NCL-KGX today 11 January 2020 was 67016 dragging MkIV set with 91132 on rear.

OTT map suggests MkIV set will work out on 1S17 1121 KGX-EDB.

You might want to add the date for future readers/searchers. Today (4 January) or earlier in the month?
You're right. Although the host service does give a date, it should be included in the body of the message too, and is duly amended.

Re: Survey / Questionaire

I don't recollect the results of this survey ever being published. Have I missed it or is it something that will never see the light of day?

ECML diversions January 2020

I had not paid any attention to these, assuming that all LNER trains would be Azuma.

But 1S10 0830 KGX-EDB today 04/01/20 was a MkIV set dragged by a DB red class 67.

Re: BR privatisation

I don't know the answer but I can suggest some further places to look. There may have been press coverage at the time of the sale both national and local. British Library would be the place to start but local Scottish newspapers may require going to Scotland. The National Archives at Kew have lots o...

Re: Library

This is a quick note to let everyone here know that I visited the library in Leatherhead yesterday and did some real research!

Thanks to all involved in getting the library up and running.
